Barùkas nuts grow on Baruzerio trees in the wild in Brazil. There are no chemicals, pesticides, or artificial irrigation. While there is no organic certification (it's a very large area that's 3x the size of Texas), we consider them beyond organic since they are wild harvested.
Chiquitanas Premium Varietal
This premium varietal of Barùkas nuts comes from a part of The Cerrado Biome known as Chiquitania. They have a unique flavor and are absolutely delicious.
Chiquitania delineates the far western range of the Baruzeiro tree, closest to the high Andes Mountains that soar to over 22,000 feet from the tropical savanna.
Chiquitanas have a fruiter flavor than regular Barùkas nuts with notes of cocoa. There's a limited quantity available, and we're collecting all that we can. Once you try them, you'll understand why!
