Barùkas Chickpea Curry

You'll need:

  • ½ chopped onions
  • A small piece of kabocha squash chopped
  • 1/2 cup of cooked chickpea
  • 1/3 cup of peeled Barùkas
  • 1 tablespoon of garam masala powder
  • 150ml of coconut milk
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • Chop cilantro to taste
  • Salt to taste


  1. In a pan sauté the onions and the kabocha squash
  2. Add the garam masala powder and sauté the mix for a couple of minutes
  3. Stir in the chickpeas, baru nuts, salt, and coconut milk, and stir well
  4. Add cilantro and lemon juice to taste.
